* Terminate and delete all of services that you've been using before closing your AWS account.

• You can still temporary log in and ckeck your billing dash boards after closing aws account.
• Services that hasn't been deleted may still charge you after re-log in
• You are not able to use the same email address after completely closing your account                    
• ( You can change your email address before doing it on account setting.)

 

 

 

1. Close AWS account

Go to Account setting

 

 

 

Make sure you read all conditions and terms relating with closing an account scrolling down

check the boxes and proceed it.

 

 

 

 

When you try to log in again with this account, it's blocked and show you this words of guidance.

Q.The administrator of an AWS account has left the company. How do I access this AWS account?
To access an account as a root user, you must have the email address and password associated with the account.

1. ask the former administrator of the account.
2. If the email address is associated with a corporate domain, it's a best practice that you contact your email administrator.
3. If you have root access to the account but don't know the password for a particular IAM user, sign in as the root user. Then, change the password.
